100% Nebbiolo and excitingly sultry. You’re in Piemonte, it’s Nebbiolo, you can’t help but start tasting the wine with your minds Barolo and Barbaresco files opened, but this is quite different and you quickly have to do a bit of a reset.

It’s wonderfully polished wine with delicious ripe fruit at its heart. There’s plenty of ‘perfume’ behind the savoury and spicy notes and of course there’s tannin and acidity and plenty of structure but this definitely isn’t Barolo.
