‘La Rencontre’ translates from French as ‘a meeting of people’. Meeting people in our business is important – the meeting of winemakers and growers becomes a melting pot of information and ideas. After a fortuitous meeting with a grower where the wines were simply fantastic – the alchemy and fun began, in glorious Saint-Véran.

Classic chardonnay from the area offering some lovely fresh citrus notes of lemon peel, floral notes with interesting exotic undertones. Finesse and purity meet and fuse…….

Will be a perfect accompaniment to pan seared scallops, crab, vichyssoise (a leek and potato based soup), and dishes with a cream and lemon based sauce.
